| The MW4 was the first of many designs by Mike Whittaker to use a strong
but quite minimal structure for the aircraft. Based on HT30F aluminium
tubes, the MW4 is distinguished by its articulated tailplane. The assembly
is all one piece and moves as a whole rather than the rudder moving separately
from the elevators.
