MW5

This
photograph shows the prototype MW5 built by Stan Shearer and George Haffey.
The first flight was in July 1984 at Charterhouse. The '5' is a single
seat design and was eventually produced commercially. Although this is
the oldest design for which plans are available, Mike Whittaker is currently
producing a slightly 'cleaned up' version which should give it a new lease
of life.
Recently a version was modified to use floats,
and become the first amphibious MW. See Mike Whittaker's brochure for details
The photo below shows Chris Wills flying his beautifully finished '5'. Chris flew in many microlight competitions in this but has now moved up to an MW6S.
